How much training money can I receive through the WFTP Express Grant?
As of July 2023, Massachusetts based companies with fewer than 100 MA employees may be eligible for up to $20,000 per company per calendar year and $3,000 per employee per course.
What are the eligibility requirements to receive a WFTP Express Grant?
- In order to qualify for the WFTP Express Grant, you must be a Massachusetts company and pay into the Workforce Training Fund. All for-profit companies pay into the fund via their Payroll taxes.
- All training participants must be on payroll and must work in Massachusetts
- Employees are not required to live in Massachusetts.
- Contractors or employees of other firms, such as temporary workers, are not eligible for reimbursement.
- The company must obtain a Certificate of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
I have more than 100 employees in Massachusetts – can I still receive a WFTP Express Grant?
For Massachusetts based companies with more than 100 MA employees, you may be eligible to participate in the Massachusetts Workforce Training Program General Grant Program for your training needs.
Am I able to offer multiple courses through the WFTP Express Grant?
Eligible Massachusetts based companies with fewer than 100 MA employees are able to apply for and receive more than one WFTP Express Grant at a time.
How do I get reimbursed by the WFTP Express Grant?
KPI + Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program 2023
Reimbursement is based on the program you select along with the size of your company. Many of our workshop fees are charged per person. The WTFP Express Program reimburses 100% for companies with fewer than 100 employees and 50% for companies with >100 employees. Upon completion of the program you can submit proof of payment and a roster of attendees to receive your reimbursement.

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of their current business by learning how to use a S.W.O.T. analysis tool, and will learn how to create detailed project plans and measures that will help them achieve achieve their goals. Students will also learn how to get buy-in and engagement from team members, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals. Students will learn through a mix of lecture and real-time feedback. Students will learn how to review and diagnose current business performance and how to create a plan with the actions needed to achieve their goals. Developing a Company Level Business Scorecard to Achieve Goals
This training is designed to teach leadership teams how to develop a business scorecard. Students will learn how to use a Business Scorecard to keep track of company performance and use the information to make better business decisions and achieve their goals. We will cover examples of key financial and operational metrics and how to use this information to build an environment that is built on transparency, and accountability. Students will learn how to identify their key processes, document them at the right level, make them accessible to their teams, and how to develop measures to ensure they are getting used. We will cover examples of process improvement methodologies and tools, and how they can use these to develop a strong process focus for their business to scale. Students will learn through a mix of lecture and real-time feedback.
